Massiel Taveras Shoves Security Guard Amid Altercation

Dominican actress Massiel Taveras has spoken out on social media after she was filmed shoving a security guard at the Cannes Film Festival.

Taveras, who is known for her work on the TV show "La Socia" and the film "La Casa del Angel", said in an Instagram post that she was "attacked" by the guard while she was trying to enter a screening.

"I was pushed, shoved, and had my arm twisted," Taveras wrote. "I was in pain and I was scared."

Taveras said that she did not know why the guard attacked her, but she believes it may have been because she is a woman of color.

"I am a strong woman of color, and I will not be silenced," Taveras wrote. "I will not be intimidated by anyone, and I will not be treated like a second-class citizen."

Taveras's post has been met with support from her fans and followers, who have praised her for speaking out against the guard's actions.

The Cannes Film Festival has not yet commented on the incident.
