Two-Episode Debut for Star Wars Action-Adventure Mystery

Lucasfilm has announced that its highly anticipated new Star Wars series The Acolyte will premiere on Disney+ on Tuesday, June 4, 2024.

The eight-episode series will debut with a two-episode rollout and will follow a group of young Force users who are trained by a former Jedi Master in the dangerous final days of the High Republic era, approximately 100 years before the events of Episode I - The Phantom Menace.

The cast includes Amandla Stenberg, Dafne Keen, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Joonas Suotamo. The series is created by Leslye Headland (Russian Doll) and is produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Simon Kinberg, and Tommy Harper.
